Steps to Live a Stress Free Life...

Live One Day At A Time
Really, can you change what will happened tomorrow by worrying about it? Or can you change what happened yesterday by dwelling on it? Today only comes once in a lifetime - don't waste it. You have the strength you need to live through today.

Don't Listen To The "Experts"
What do the experts know anyways? They fill our minds with what they think might happened, but they don't know the future. They can only tell us what they know from the past, and these are usually not good news. So, why spend your time listening to the experts when you can listen to more pleasant sounds?

Stay Away From "What If...?"
"What if I loose my job?" "What if I fail?"
"What if" are two very overwhelming words and they should not be in our vocabulary if we want to live a stress free life.

Exercise and Eat Well
Two rules to live by:
1. Just get off your butt and get moving!
2. Eat as close as the way nature made it.
3. Number three is a freebie, don't be hard on yourself... just do your best and be proud you did!

Learn To Breathe
Put yourself to sleep by breathing deeply. Breathe deeply when you are overwhelmed. Keep an eye on your breathing and you'll notice how shallow it has become. Go back to deep breathing, just as you did when you were a baby.

Learn From A Child
Children can teach us to laugh again, to enjoy life and to have fun. Go make a child your friend.

Watch Your Mind, Your Mouth, Your Eyes and Your Ears
Think positively. Start looking for all the good things that happen to you and write them down.
If you don't have anything good to say, than don't say anything at all.
What are you watching on T.V.? What are you reading? Is it uplifting or encouraging?
What type of music do you listen to? Does it make you a better person, or does it teach you to be unhappy with life?

Accept Yourself The Way You Are
If you don't like the way you are, ask yourself - Why? Make a change for the better; don't dwell on your shortcomings and beat yourself down.



Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn-out and loudly proclaiming, WOW! What a ride!"
