Find the loss!

One customer purchased a gift of Rs. 70. He gave 100 Rs. note to the shopkeeper. Since the shopkeeper had no change he went to the neighbor to get the change. He gave remaining 30 rs to customer and gift. After some time neighbor came and asked for his money back as the note was a fake So the shopkeeper returned neighbor's 100 rs.

In these whole transactions, who lost how many?

In the whole transaction, i think shopkeeper lost 200 Rs.
He just lost 100 because of the fake note
He lost 30 because of the change he returned for the customer
He lost 70 because of the doll

Or the shopkeeper lost 100 because of his doll and the change.
He has the possibility to cheat another one with tat fake note.

Hey Spazinvader, 200 is not the correct answer. The shopkeeper doesn't cheat anyone else with that money also.

PS: By the way, I didn't know that the gift he purchased was a doll  :P

shopkeeper lost 100 rs.. because..he lost the gift money=70 rs.
and also he had to give 30 rs to the neighbor from his side when he came to have his 100 rs back as he was having neighbor's 70 rs from earlier only so he had to add 30 rs more.....

thats easy level problem man:

there's just one fake 100 rupee note and it can never cause a damage of more than 100 rs to anyone, whatever the transactions may be....and in this case, the shopkeeper comes out to be a victim.
